World Sustainability Mission Statement

The web site for World Sustainability developed by Professor Wayne Hayes, Ph.D., supports ENST209, World Sustainability, within the School of Social Science and Human Service at Ramapo College. The web site also assembles resources to support the development of a book on World Sustainability with Professor Michael Edelstein, Ph.D., also of Ramapo College.

A sense of the book is found in the tentative outline and in Professor Hayes's Statement of Concern.

Goals

As of 11/30/2009, these goals are defined:

  1. Assemble what are now scattered materials for use in Public Policy now and World Sustainability in the spring semester.
  2. The web site may replace Schroyer and Golodik and more clearly organize material, such as Brundtland, for our course.
  3. Provide an outine and inventory for continuing progress with Mike.
  4. Facilitate external review of work in progress.
